Popis územia
The site is located in the eastern part of the Povazsky Inovec mountain range. The site is represented by a linear habitat along the Livina watercourse. Majority of the vegetation is represented by the deciduous floodplain forest, especiually alder. From the geomorphological point of view, the site representd a valley with a floodplain.
Ciele ochrany
The aim of is to protect the well-preserved alder vegetation above the Zlatníky village.
Quality and importance:
The site is significant for the protection of the habitat Ls 1.1 Mixed ash-alder alluvial forests of temperate and Boreal Europe.

Potential threat to the site is represented by change of the hydrological regime or wood composition.
